He serves as a trusted advisor for clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, and financing for emerging growth and middle-market companies. Buddy actively participates in every phase of the process, from identifying potential buyers or sellers to structuring transactions, leading negotiations, and overseeing execution, leveraging his profound understanding of capital markets and investments to provide context for client recommendations.

Buddy has been a Partner at High Rock Partners since 2007 and owns Equity Research Services, Inc., a company he founded in 1989. Through this venture, he offers contract equity research, investor relations, and business valuation services, with a focus on publishing financial reports on publicly traded companies, particularly in the banking sector.

Buddy Howard’s track record encompasses over 200 valuation assignments, including fairness opinions, ESOP valuations, purchase price allocations, and general-purpose valuations. He has also served as an expert witness in business valuation in approximately 30 cases. Earlier in his career, Buddy worked as an equity analyst at a regional brokerage firm, providing research coverage for a prominent M&A firm in New York.
